What personal data does FOS ERP collect?
FOS collects information you provide directly — name, work email, phone, company, role, and messages through website forms or email. When you use the FOS cloud platform, we process business data you enter (orders, inventory, employees) as a data processor under your agreement.
How does FOS use my contact information?
FOS uses contact details to respond to demo requests, support tickets, and sales enquiries; provide and secure the platform; send product updates where you opted in; and meet legal obligations. Marketing emails include unsubscribe options. Operational data is used solely to deliver contracted services.
Who owns data entered into FOS ERP?
You retain ownership of all business data entered into FOS ERP — sales orders, BOMs, inventory, production records, and employee information. FOS receives a limited license to host, process, and back up that data solely to provide subscription services under your agreement.
Does FOS sell personal data to third parties?
No. FOS does not sell personal data. We use vetted cloud hosting, email, analytics, and support subprocessors under data processing agreements. Subprocessor lists and security practices are documented for enterprise customers evaluating manufacturing data handling.
Where is FOS ERP customer data stored?
FOS cloud deployments use providers with strong information-security practices and regional data residency options for India. Databases and backups are encrypted at rest (AES-256); traffic uses TLS 1.2 or higher. Network segmentation, WAF, and DDoS mitigation protect manufacturing operational data.
How can I request deletion of my personal data?
You may request access, correction, deletion, or portability of personal data, and object to certain processing where GDPR or applicable law applies. Email privacy@foserp.com with your request. Platform business data deletion follows your subscription terms and export window after termination.
